All you need for this simple yet effective Oblique Blast is floor space to crunch it out!
Sound on!
The obliques are our core muscles along the sides of our bodies. They are the frame of our core; strong obliques allow us greater range to twist and bend. Whats more, when you work out your obliques you inevitably work your rectus abdominis, the two pillars in the front of your core that draw your low ribs to your pelvis.
As body mechanics would have it, when we move our torso in core exercises we target more of our upper core. Conversely, when we move our legs and hips in core exercises we target more of our lower core. In this particular workout we incorporate supine twist with both torso lifts then leg lifts.
Enjoy!
